Job description

Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days) - Perot Surgery

Robust, Growing Surgery department is looking for top-skilled nurses.  Is that you?

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas seeks to hire a Registered Nurse for their Surgery Department.

Work Location: 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231.

Work environment: Surgery Department - Robotics

Work Hours: Full time- 40 Hours/week. Days Shift, Monday- Friday 06:30-15:00

Surgery Department highlights:

         Texas Health Dallas has 24 Main OR Suites, 2 Endovascular rooms, 3 Robot rooms, 2 Heart rooms.

         Fast Paced, High Volume of Open Vascular, Endo Vascular, and Hearts

         Level I Trauma facility. Strong Minimally Invasive CV program

Here's What You Need

         Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma

         BSN (Preferred)

         1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)

         Experience as a registered nurse circulating in the Operating Room

         Ability to circulate the following service lines: GYN, GYN Robotics, Breast Oncology, Breast Oncology / Reconstruction, Urology, Urology Robotics, Plastics, Microplastic preferred

         Scrubbing capabilities preferred

         RN - Registered Nurse (Required upon hire)

         BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)

         ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Pref

  

What You Will Do

         Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

         OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills

         Assesses the patient

         Plans the care of the patient

         Intervenes as appropriate

         Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

         Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

         Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

         Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
