Shift: Full-time Day shift 12 hour shift
Weekend coverage: Rotating weekends
Compensation: $30-$35 an hour $1.00 additional for weekend coverage

We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our day shift team at Phillips State Prison Buford, GA.

Position SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care
• Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
• Monitor patient conditions and report change appropriately
• Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Compact (MSL) or Georgia (SL) Must be active and valid
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or BLS Must be active
• Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, this may include drug screen and criminal background check
