About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Architect/Designer to join a growing design-build team specializing in high-end residential and light commercial projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects from concept through design development while collaborating closely with clients, construction professionals, and internal stakeholders to create innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling spaces.

The ideal candidate combines strong architectural expertise with project management capabilities and a client-focused mindset. This individual will play a key role in translating client visions into thoughtfully designed environments while ensuring projects remain aligned with budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural concepts, designs, and construction documentation for residential and light commercial projects.
  • Lead projects through the design phase, from initial client consultation to final design approval.
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Guide clients through material, finish, and interior design selections to enhance project functionality and aesthetics.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and design quality standards.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize design technology and software to streamline workflows and improve project outcomes.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and coordination efforts throughout the design process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of architectural design experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and/or light commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building materials, and code requirements.
  • Proven experience managing projects through the design phase.
  • Proficiency in architectural design and drafting software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a deadline-driven approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary design-build environment.
