Job description

New London Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our independent, all-CRNA anesthesia team at a critical access hospital in New London, New Hampshire. This role offers the opportunity to practice to the full scope of your license in a collaborative, high-performing environment that values professionalism, respect, and strong interdisciplinary teamwork. 

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and composed under pressure, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through. They bring a positive, team-focused mindset and are engaged in both clinical care and department success. This individual will also play a key role in mentoring Nurse Anesthesia Residents during their final clinical year.

This is a full-time position, with additional opportunities available for per diem CRNAs seeking flexibility.

About our Practice:

  • Work in an independent, highly supportive clinical environment while enjoying a community known for its exceptional quality of life
  • Diverse outpatient surgical cases, including orthopedics (total joint arthroplasty), neurospine, urology, general surgery, endoscopy, and pain procedures.
  • No obstetrics or pediatric cases under age 16.
  • Streamlined, robust Pre-Anesthesia Testing (PAT) process ensures efficient, smooth OR days.
  • Reasonable call schedule with very few callbacks, especially at night—60-minute call-back expectation.
  • Fully integrated Epic electronic medical record system for seamless clinical workflow.

Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits:

  • 4-day work week with 1:5 call; post-call day off or first-out
  • Full-time (1.0 FTE) schedule of 1,680 hours annually with ~10 weeks off
  • Competitive base salary of $270,920 with increases based on experience
  • Additional earnings through call pay and optional extra shifts
  • $25,000 sign-on bonus + up to $15,000 relocation (paid within 30 days)
  • $50,000 retention bonus paid over 2 years
  • Comprehensive W-2 benefits from day one (health, dental, vision, disability, life, malpractice)
  • 403(b) with 4% employer contribution plus 2% match
  • $3,000 annual CME plus coverage for licenses, dues, and NBCRNA recertification
  • Tuition reimbursement available for advanced degrees or specialty training
  • Practice in New Hampshire with no state income or sales tax

  • Four years of experience is recommended; the advertised compensation reflects this level of experience
