We are a high-riskLevel III Perinatal Unit in a northside Chicago neighborhood. We and are proud to provide exceptional care in a team-focused, collaborative environment. In this setting, nurses develop strong clinical skills by caring for premature infants, high-risk pregnancies, and complex medical cases that require critical thinking and teamwork. They work closely with obstetrician, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals, creating valuable experience in a fast-paced interdisciplinary environment. We offer a family-centered, baby-friendly, supportive environment ideal for clinicians who want to develop their skills in Maternal Child nursing. Specific learning opportunities available to new hires are ACLS/BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, Fetal Monitoring, and Stable Newborn assessment. Orientation also includes development of critical thinking & advanced assessment skills as well as interdisciplinary collaboration

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• One year or more of Postpartum and/or NICU experience is strongly preferred

What You'll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
