About the Role

INFOASSA is seeking a distinguished and forward-thinking Senior Research Analyst to join our expert network on a project basis. You will lead the development of specialized reports and provide strategic policy recommendations that address todayโ€™s most pressing challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of drafting high-quality strategic research reports, and analytical articles focused on Indo-Pacific geopolitical and economic trends.
  • Develop robust research frameworks that incorporate regional security analysis, trade policy evaluation, and comparative studies of Indo-Pacific nations.
  • Track U.S. legislative updates, executive orders, and diplomatic shifts concerning the Indo-Pacific theater to identify timely and high-impact research topics.
  • Formulate actionable, evidence-based policy solutions that address security, economic, and diplomatic challenges within the Indo-Pacific region.

Requirements

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree (B.A./B.S.) in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a related field with a focus on Asian or Indo-Pacific studies.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have served in Congress/Parliament, Government Agencies, the Military, or leading Political Think Tanks.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of the Indo-Pacific landscape, including regional alliances, maritime security, and trans-pacific economic frameworks.
  • Exceptional English writing skills with a proven ability to produce professional, persuasive policy content.
  • Strong capability to synthesize complex geopolitical data and regulatory information into coherent, strategic narratives.
