Job description

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College is accepting applications for a full-time campus police officer. Responsibilities include the protection of the University's facilities and property and the enforcement of published University regulations and other state and federal laws. Must be available for evening and/or weekend shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications for the position include a high school education or equivalent. OPOTA certification and basic law enforcement training is required.

Qualified applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, copy of OPOTA certification, and the names and contact information of three professional references to the attention of Sean McIntyre, Chief of Campus Police. For full consideration, application materials must be submitted through the University's online applicant tracking system.
