?? Mesquite, TX | ?? On-Site | ?? 4x10 Schedule | ?? Full-Time

Paragon Industries LP is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support the documentation, configuration, and technical foundation of our kiln and oven product lines. This is a hands-on role focused on drawing accuracy, BOM cleanup, and wiring schematics for our manufacturing team.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing
  • Create and revise detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks

  • Produce and edit electrical wiring diagrams for kiln and oven assemblies

  • Audit and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings for accuracy

  • Assist with Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and documentation control

  • Enter part and routing data into Global Shop Solutions (ERP)

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Planning to ensure documents match build processes

  • Standardize top-level assemblies and reduce legacy complexity

What You Need to Bring
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks (REQUIRED)

  • Ability to read, understand, and produce electrical wiring diagrams (REQUIRED)

  • Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions preferred)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, part structure, and routing logic

  • Strong attention to detail and personal accountability for accuracy

  • Ability to work independently under a highly technical manager

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in metal fabrication, industrial equipment, or electrical system assembly

  • Familiarity with kilns, ovens, furnaces, or heat-treating equipment

  • Exposure to Lean manufacturing, EOS tools, or structured documentation systems

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish โ€” able to communicate effectively across departments

  • Willingness to work directly with shop floor teams to learn processes, gather feedback, and build trust through hands-on collaboration

Why Paragon

This is a critical role. Weโ€™re simplifying our product line and rebuilding the accuracy of our manufacturing dataโ€”BOMs, routings, and wiring diagrams included. Your work will be highly visible and directly impact production performance, cost structure, and future scalability.

Our Core Values
  • We Like to Win โ€“ We pursue excellence and measurable outcomes

  • Always Innovative โ€“ We improve what matters and reject โ€œgood enoughโ€

  • Will Do Attitude โ€“ We take initiative and solve problems

  • Caring for Others โ€“ We lead with respect and support our team

Your Path Forward

This role can evolve into Electrical Design, Production Control, Engineering Support, or Technical Operations. We're looking for someone whoโ€™s not just accurateโ€”but reliable, curious, and driven to make things better.
