Currently hiring Machine Operator's in the Philadelphia, PA area! The Machine Operator focuses on producing high-quality protective garments by operating Lectra/Gerber and other automated cutting machines, managing material usage, and supporting inventory control. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced production environment. This does offer FULL TIME HOURS and WEEKLY PAY!

Responsibilities

• Operate Lectra/Gerber cutting machines and other automated equipment, including Paragon systems, to cut fabric and materials according to production specifications.
• Spread fabric manually and using automated spreading equipment to prepare materials for cutting.
• Collaborate closely with other cutters and spreaders to maintain an efficient and continuous workflow.
• Record and monitor material usage accurately and maintain up-to-date inventory documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance, basic adjustments, and troubleshooting on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect cut materials for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications before releasing them to production.
• Work closely with production and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials and support on-time order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
• Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Assist with general production tasks and packing as needed to support overall production goals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
