Job description

Role Overview

The Solution Designer II plays a critical role in advancing Sodexo's commercial growth strategy by developing innovative, client-centered solutions that support strategic pursuits, renewals, and new business opportunities across assigned service lines. Partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Commercial Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders, this role designs scalable food, environmental services, integrated facilities management, and support service solutions that align with client needs, operational requirements, and financial objectives. The Solution Designer II applies strong business acumen, operational expertise, and analytical problem-solving to translate complex client requirements into executable service models, staffing strategies, and value-driven proposals. This role also supports standardized solution methodologies, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance solution quality, improve pursuit outcomes, and drive sustainable business growth. This is a remote position.

  • Design and develop complex, client-focused food, facilities, environmental, and support service solutions for strategic pursuits, renewals, and new business opportunities.
  • Build operational models, staffing strategies, service delivery frameworks, and capital improvement recommendations aligned with client requirements and business goals.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Commercial Finance, and cross-functional teams to create competitive, executable solutions that support profitable growth.
  • Translate client business objectives into scalable service models and differentiated value propositions that improve win rates and pursuit success.
  • Coordinate solution development activities, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with enterprise standards and governance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging standardized tools, templates, and methodologies to improve efficiency, consistency, and solution quality.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience in solution design, facilities management, food service design, capital planning, or related technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of service delivery models within healthcare, education, corporate services, seniors, or other complex multi-site environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Operations, Finance, and technical teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Financial acumen with experience evaluating pricing strategy, cost drivers, and business case feasibility.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present complex technical solutions clearly and effectively.
