Packaging Production Designer
Full-time, onsite, $55K - $70K
Bentonville, AR

Love great packaging and flawless execution? We're looking for a full-time Packaging Production Designer to join a collaborative team in Bentonville, AR. If you are early in your career, obsessed with the details, sweat the small stuff, and ready to dive hands-on into private-brand packaging, this is your launchpad. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to turn creative concepts into flawless packaging production files. Bring your eager-to-learn attitude and your excellent Adobe skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and we'll help you master the rest. Let's talk.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, hands-on creative professional with a passion for packaging design and production.

What You'll Do

  • Support the creation, adaptation, and production of packaging artwork across a variety of product categories
  • Assist with updating existing packaging designs, layout revisions, and versioning projects
  • Prepare production-ready artwork files following established brand standards and packaging specifications
  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to support packaging initiatives
  • Ensure artwork files meet project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards
  • Assist with quality control reviews, proofing, and artwork checks for accuracy, consistency, and compliance
  • Learn and apply packaging production best practices, including die lines, print specifications, and manufacturing requirements
  • Create mockups, presentation materials, and production assets as needed
  • Maintain organized file structures and documentation throughout the project lifecycles
  • Stay current on packaging trends, design techniques, and industry best practices

As a Packaging Production Designer, you'll have:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Packaging Production Designer, Graphic Designer, Production Artist, or similar role within consumer products, packaging, retail, or agency environments
  • Working knowledge of packaging design, print production, and production file preparation
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Understanding of typography, layout, color, branding, and design fundamentals
  • Familiarity with die lines, print specifications, and packaging production workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, error-free work
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Portfolio showcasing packaging, production, or consumer product design work required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with private brand, retail, CPG, or agency environments
  • Familiarity with packaging manufacturing and print production processes

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong production and file-preparation skills
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to take direction, implement feedback, and adapt quickly
  • Passion for packaging, branding, and consumer products

This is a full-time Production Packaging Designer position working onsite in Bentonville, AR. Remote work is not an option.
