Facilities: Avanti Senior Living - Lafayette, Garden View of Lafayette, Garden View of New Iberia, and The Vermillion at Eastridge - Abbeville
Join the Synergy Care Team!
Synergy Care is seeking a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy (OT) for a full-time float position serving multiple senior living communities in the Lafayette, Abbeville, and New Iberia areas. You will spend the majority of your time in New Iberia/Abbeville than Lafayette due to the need.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive therapy team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.
Position Overview
As an OT, you will help residents improve their ability to perform daily activities and maintain independence. You'll implement treatment plans designed to enhance physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy treatments
  • Assist residents in developing and improving skills needed for daily living and independence
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care

Qualifications
  • Be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
    (or graduating within the next 6 months)
  • Hold a valid NBCOT certification
  • Hold or be eligible for a valid state Occupational Therapist license
