Salary: $72,000/year
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join a nonprofit organization to serve as the primary administrator of the data management ecosystem, supporting program, client, operational, and philanthropic reporting needs across the organization. This is a highly visible, mission-critical role that partners with leadership, program teams, development, finance, and operations to ensure accurate reporting, meaningful data analysis, and informed decision-making. The individual will help transform data into actionable insights that directly support services for survivors and strengthen the organization's community impact.
MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
  • 3+ years of experience managing organizational databases, data systems, and business software.
  • 3+ years of experience administering client, program, and donor databases, including reporting, data quality, and program evaluation.
  • 2+ years of experience creating data reports and visualizations.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams, training staff, and supporting multiple locations.
  • 2+ years of experience performing statistical analysis, data evaluation, and experience developing database queries.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong reporting and analytics background.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • This role will have no direct reports.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bilingual/Multilingual fluency of one or more languages (Written and Oral).
  • Experience in a nonprofit or social services work environment.
  • Experience with digital platforms common to nonprofits and fundraising (e.g., Efforts to Outcomes and DonorPerfect or similar platform experience).
  • Demonstrated experience creating dashboards and reports that present data clearly to staff and leadership.
  • Experience leading organization-wide implementation and adoption of new software systems.

Working Environment:
Hybrid-model eligible after demonstrated operational proficiency; schedule to be determined in coordination and approval by supervisor. Must maintain personal cell phone for work-related purposes. Working conditions may include possible exposure to communicable diseases related to those typically found in social service settings. The incumbent must reside in California and within 75-mile radius of the City of San Diego.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Travel:
Some travel may be required (up to approximately 20% mostly within San Diego County). Must have consistent and reliable transportation available for work-related purposes.
Work Hours
The employee must be available during Agency working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Occasional weekend hours may be required contingent on workload.
