I2X Technologies is seeking a JRSS NOC Technician to support ongoing activities for a customer at Scott AFB, IL. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance. 

Execute network operations to include configuration and analysis of customer traffic across the MPLS and JRSS infrastructure.Perform real-time customer failover to restore services during scheduled and unscheduled outages and maintenance actions.Work directly with supported customers and engineers across other NOCs to ensure maximum network availability to minimize or eliminate mission and operational impact.Proactively monitor network alarms across platform specific network management tools.Perform a variety of change management tasks which include hardware replacement, software configurations, and ASI management.Utilize incident management applications to document all aspects of reported outages/degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions during the lifecycle of a service impacting network incident.                                        Assess, identify and recommend resolutions to various network incidents and/or deficiencies leveraging knowledge in one or more of following: routers, switches, routing protocols, MPLS, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS, proxies, packet capture, network taps, load balancing, firewalls, out-of-band management.

Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date. Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.

High school and 3-5 years of experience.

Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance. Experience with one or more of the following: alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management. Expertise in one or more of the following: routers, switches, routing protocols, CISCO, Juniper, MPLS. General understanding of network topologies.

Tech control facility or cyber transport experienceCircuit actions and vendor experience           IP architecture experienceTelco NOC, inside or outside plant experience.Experience with MS Office suite, i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, TEAMsExperience with one or more of the following: alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management, change management.any additional certifications to include: CCNA, JNCIA-Junos, F5 Networks Certified Technical Specialist, ITILv4.

Essential Requirements:

US Citizenship is required.

Active Secret Clearance is required.
