Job description

Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time NATO Seasparrow NSSMS Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Summary: Under minimal supervision, the employee provides direct technical support aboard ships of the U.S. Navy on NATO Seasparrow NSSMS systems and networks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
MK57 NATO SEASPARROW Surface Missile System (NSSMS)
Associated LINUX based software and networks
Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
Required NEC (Navy Enlisted Qualifications) in V31A or ISEA
4+ years of related experience with shipboard systems and associated systems.
Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards.
Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.
Knowledge of 3M
Fiber Optics Technician Certificate
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$39.50 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms
Regular Communication (hearing and speaking)
Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting of heavy objects
Ability to go aboard ships, barges and other naval craft
Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways onboard ships
Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight
Industrial, shop environment
Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States
