Job description

We're partnering with a well-established California general contractor that's continuing to grow its multifamily division and is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team.

This role offers the opportunity to lead ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout while working alongside an experienced team. The company has a strong pipeline throughout California, providing long-term stability and opportunities for continued growth.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead overall project execution from buyout through closeout
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, schedules, and cost control
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project
  • Lead OAC meetings and maintain strong client relationships
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract administration
  • Manage subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, and procurement
  • Partner closely with the Superintendent to keep projects on schedule
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers while driving successful project delivery
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a general contractor
  • Ground-up multifamily construction experience
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and contract administration
  • Experience leading owner meetings and coordinating project teams
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project (or P6), and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
