Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mortgage Loan Originator at UMortgage. As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for the up-front underwriting, loan origination, mortgage lending, and handling loans. You will work closely with clients to help them navigate the mortgage process, assess their financial situations, and guide them through the loan application process.


Responsibilities

  • Build long-lasting relationships with and provide an exceptional experience for our clients.
  • Consult with prospective clients to analyze financial and credit data, determine financing objectives, and advise clients on products and services.
  • Recommend and outline the terms of the loan and educate prospective clients on loan commitments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Market our company’s unique services to clients based on their needs and requirements.
  • Research and stay up to date on market rates and trends to better consult clients.
  • Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • NMLS license required
  • Familiar with CRM systems such as Salesforce, or the ability to learn systems quickly.
