Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy robust custom solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse, to effectively meet business requirements.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and automated workflows, enhancing collaboration, efficiency, and document management capabilities.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions seamlessly with Office 365 applications (Outlook, Teams) and other low-code/no-code platforms, streamlining business processes and facilitating efficient communication.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and end-users, to gather, interpret, and document requirements, ensuring technical solutions align with strategic business goals.
  • Proactively identify and implement workflow and business process automation opportunities, significantly improving operational productivity and accuracy.
  • Provide comprehensive ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Power Platform and SharePoint applications, ensuring continuous solution reliability and performance.
  • Create thorough documentation, including development procedures, system configurations, user guides, and training materials, to ensure successful adoption and long-term maintainability of solutions.
  • Liaise effectively with IT teams on application governance, data management, security protocols, user permissions, and compliance requirements, addressing privacy and risk management concerns proactively.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical specification creation, solution design, development, rigorous testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Conduct detailed application testing, ensuring high-quality standards and performance criteria are consistently met.
  • Stay abreast of evolving Microsoft Power Platform and Office 365 features, best practices, and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical knowledge and solution innovation.

Required Skills

  • Must be located in the western region of the US - preferably CA, OR, NV or AZ
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
  • Strong experience developing and customizing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and automated workflows.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 suite integration (Outlook, Teams) and other low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders across diverse teams.
  • Solid understanding of workflow automation and business process management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven capability in creating clear, comprehensive documentation for technical solutions.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. Experience in automating workflows and business processes.

Certification

Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200) or Developer (PL-400) certification is preferred.

Working Conditions

This position is hybrid with travel/onsite requirements. To be successful at PCG, you must:

  • be available during your set working hours
  • have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and
  • be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties

Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
