Job Summary:
Avfuel Corporation, a global aviation fuel and services provider operating in over 140 countries, is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support our continued growth. This onsite role blends data analytics with core finance/accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and brings strong financial modeling and analytical skills to support strategic decision-making. This role will primarily support the accounting and finance division but may also work on projects across the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Analyze large data sets to identify trends and drive financial performance
  • Drive financial results through data analysis
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and reports
  • Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
  • Deliver regular (weekly, monthly, annual) financial reports and dashboards
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies with the direction of the Director of Financial Operations
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to support cross-functional projects as assigned by manager
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel
  • Experience with Power BI, Access, SQL preferred
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to consider multiple data sources and draw relevant conclusions
  • Ability to notice inconsistencies and errors in data and work product
  • Extract, clean and prepare large datasets through effective data mining & scrubbing techniques
  • Roll-up sleeves, can do mentality
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions
  • Comfortable working independently with limited supervision

Education and Experience:
  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-Related fields.
