Job description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Manager, Financial Reporting. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, overseeing consolidation processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations. The Manager will also perform financial analysis, provide insights to support strategic decisions, and collaborate with other departments to facilitate accurate financial reporting and efficient workflows. This position will play a key role in supporting public company reporting requirements, SEC filings, and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes across the organization. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential to success in this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages
  • Support consolidation processes across multiple businesses and entities
  • Preparation and filing of SEC documents and compliance with applicable accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business and strategic decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and operational teams to support reporting accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requests as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting processes and workflows
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned reporting deliverables and deadlines
  • Utilize ERP systems and financial tools to support reporting and analysis activities
  • Support other accounting and financial reporting projects and initiatives as assigned



Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements and consolidation process
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Knowledge and experience in finance and accounting principles
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards and the application thereof
  • Experience supporting public company reporting activities or SEC-related filings preferred
  • Proven track record of attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software/tools; ERP system experience preferred



Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting and/or financial reporting experience preferred
  • Public accounting and/or public company experience preferred
