Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking full-time academic rheumatologists to join the growing Division of Rheumatology of the Department of Medicine. The MFA is an independent, non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University and is part of a large academic health center located in the heart of the nation's capital.
These non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (instructor/assistant/associate/full professor) and salary commensurate with experience. These positions are expected to begin as early as Fall 2025.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing quality clinical service, engaging in effective teaching, and maintaining a productive research program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. They must also have an established record of providing excellent clinical care services, research productivity, and clinical teaching as demonstrated by experience, publications, evaluations, and/or references.
Advertised Salary:
$199,000.00 to $249,000.00
