Job description

Position Summary: The Texas Family Clinic is an Internal Medicine and Pediatric outpatient clinic, looking for a self-motivated Receptionist with a professional and positive attitude. In this position, you will work under the direct supervision of a Physician to coordinate patient care. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities
  • Work in a fast paced environment with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Multitasking
  • Answers calls in a timely manner
  • Accurately document clinical messages
  • Schedules, cancels and confirms office visits
  • Greets patients/families, registers/check-in/check-out patients, verifies and updates necessary information
  • Verify and check eligibility for Insurance
  • Perform receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Past experience as a medical receptionist, or similar role
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness, independent thinking, and seeks additional challenges and opportunities on their own
  • Clear communicator
  • Must have excellent customer care skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Experience with EPIC ( Electronic Medical System)
Required Skills and Attributes:
