Job Summary

The Vestal Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Records Director to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Medical Records Director, you will be responsible for leading our medical records team in ensuring the accurate and efficient maintenance of patient records. Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of medical records staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to medical records management

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and complete documentation of patient care

  • Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies

  • Develop and maintain medical records databases and reports

  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
