At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our nuclear stress testing facility.
We are seeking to add a Full Time Medical Receptionist/ PSR to our Endocrinology team! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment and go above and beyond in providing customer service to our patients. We are a multi-specialty healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth.
**Travel is required to our offices in Towson and Pikesville for this position.**
Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Monday & Tuesday - Towson (515 Fairmount Avenue)
  • Wednesday - Friday - Woodholme/Pikesville (1838 Greene Tree Road)

The Medical Receptionist /Patient Service Representative is the first point of contact and provides a professional, supportive, and nurturing experience for patients and visitors via telephone and / or in person. The Medical Receptionist/ PSR is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls for the healthcare provider, scheduling appointments, and documenting messages in the EMR system.
The Medical Receptionist / PSR must be detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task to ensure that all front desk protocols are being performed efficiently and accurately.
The Medical Receptionist /PSR will perform duties including but not limited to:
  • Identifying and quickly assessing the nature of calls and acting appropriately to provide prompt, professional service.
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Verifying insurance / resolving eligibility issues prior to a scheduled appointment.
  • Collecting co-pays, deductibles, and account balances.
  • Obtaining prior authorizations for medical services and procedures as needed.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
  • Medical Office experience is preferred.
  • Basic arithmetic and money calculating skills.
  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
  • EMR skills preferred - Nextgen is a plus!
