Job description

The Atlantic Group has partnered with a rapidly growing medical center in the Tarrytown, NY area. They have an immediate need for a Medical Biller to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

 

Job Description: Seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Medical Biller for our Corporate office location in Tarrytown, NY.

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm

 

Responsibilities:

-Review, correct, and submit medical claims while ensuring timely filing compliance.

-Run billing edits, pre-bill reports, and verify charge accuracy.

-Resolve claim errors, rejections, and billing discrepancies.

-Submit and monitor EDI files, including primary and secondary claims.

-Maintain provider information and respond to billing-related requests from offices and internal teams.

-Create clean claims and process claim corrections as needed.

 

Qualifications:

-Medical billing experience required.

-Knowledge of insurance billing procedures and claim processing.

-Experience with EDI transactions and medical billing systems (NextGen and/or Waystar preferred).
