Job description

UPMC Corporate Marketing is seeking an Intermediate Marketing Analyst to join our team. This fulltime role follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern Time and is primarily hybrid. The team meets onsite twice a week. The ideal candidate should be within 50 miles of the US Steel Tower.

In this position, the Intermediate Marketing Analyst will partner with marketing, operational, and technical teams to support the planning, execution, and analysis of omni-channel marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role is responsible for developing audience segmentation, validating campaign targeting, analyzing campaign performance, and uncovering actionable insights that drive business results.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with customer and marketing data from multiple sources, translating complex requirements into effective campaign solutions, and identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and optimization. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, digital marketing principles, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage automated workflows, journeys, and segmentation logic.
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborate with creative, data, and analytics teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
  • Monitor deliverability, list hygiene, and data compliance.
  • Create and maintain campaign documentation and SOPs.
  • Provide recommendations based on campaign analytics and insights.
  • Bachelor's degree; associate's degree in data Analytics, Database Management, or Information Technology; or two years of marketing automation experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one marketing automation platform (SFMC, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, SQL, and data integration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
