What We Are Looking For
GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Marketing Analyst to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department and our organization. We are seeking a full-time Marketing Analyst to collect, analyze and interpret data on consumer behavior, market trends and opportunities, as well as competitor activities. You will tell the story of our marketing efforts and results through data visualization to drive business decisions and marketing plan changes for more effective results.
Your Pay
The minimum starting pay for this role is $32.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience.
How You'll Help
  • Perform advanced ad hoc analysis and data mining to identify insights that assist the marketing team in defining audience targeting and meeting campaign requirements
  • Monitor marketing performance to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations for future campaign directions
  • Use visualization techniques to support analysis and make complex data easy for the creative team and management to understand
  • Identify and collect relevant data sources required to address specific business problems through testing or exploratory data analysis (EDA)
  • Implement mechanisms to report and measure progress against specific campaign goals and KPIs
  • Review and present data reports to track performance trends over time
  • Deliver analysis findings that influence business decisions and support the long-term marketing strategy
  • Conduct comprehensive research to develop marketing opportunity profiles and monitor competitor activity to identify strategic gaps and inform future campaign planning

Experience/Skills You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a similar focus
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and visualization software
  • Skilled in manual data manipulation and reporting using Excel, including V/X-lookups, IF statements and pivot tables
  • Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and high attention to detail
  • Ability to use data to tell a campaign performance story and convey complex ideas in an understandable way
  • Experience tracking key performance indicators for various marketing initiatives
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics used to drive actionable recommendations for various lines of business

Preferred Experience/Skills
  • MBA or master's degree preferred
  • Experience with market analysis and segmentation best practices
  • Familiarity with AI-powered analytics tools and predictive modeling to identify complex patterns and support campaign forecasting during the planning phase
