Position Summary...What you'll do...Sam’s Club MAP is seeking an experienced Account Manager Lead to help scale and grow the Account Management organization. You will report to the Head of Account Management and lead a team of 10 account managers. You will have 8 years of account management experience with an understanding of cross-network online marketing solutions. You will lead, coach, and influence the team and be knowledgeable of how a digital media business operates to understand the interdependencies and hand-offs across the team segments to create large-scale strategies across a growing organization.   • You will lead a retail segment of account managers with 10 direct reports.
  • You will manage a team of account managers responsible for managing supplier's campaign strategies, campaign execution, and investments.
  • Improve efficiency in MAP processes and apply it to grow the greater account management organization.
  • Lead the daily functional management, evaluation, and conflict resolution of issues for your account management team.
  • Instill operational rigor and discipline across the team to ensure standardization and harmonization of workflow across other teams.
  • Attend supplier calls to provide leadership coverage.
  • Partner with Head of Account Management for ongoing training and learning development for the account management team ranging from industry knowledge to soft skills.
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting on overall campaign stats (i.e. performance, coverage, workload).
  • Coach a team of Account Managers on performance goals and career growth.
  • Partner with respective Team Leads and Sellers to create cohesive working cadence.
  • Partner with Campaign Management, Ad Sales, and Creative Ops team ensuring high quality of campaign execution working within team service level agreements and making sure process is being followed.
What you'll bring:
  • 8+ years’ experience managing clients and relationships.
  • 5+ years of direct digital account management experience.
  • 3+ years of indirect people management, mentorship, and leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience with revenue enablement and emerging opportunities.
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading, training, and developing a team to surpass its targets and grow the business partnerships.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with suppliers findings and solutions, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of advertising technology and data/performance measurement trends.
  • Success as a leader of change, by achieving excellence in optimizing processes.
  • Consultative approach with advising partners on best practices and areas of opportunity.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
