Job description

Shift - 8 am - 4:30 pm

We are currently seeking applicants for our a full time Maintenance Assistant position.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant:

  • Ensure the completion of daily work orders as assigned by Maintenance Director.

  • Assist the Maintenance Director in maintaining the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current Delaware state fire marshal office, CMS, City of Wilmington and all federal, state and local guidelines.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Maintenance Assistant:

  • High School diploma or trade school diploma in HVAC, electrical or plumbing

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a long term care environment.

  • Previous Maintenance Experience Preferred.

  • Must be self-starter, maintain a safe workplace environment, be organized, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with vendors, and visitors.

Full time Maintenance Assistant position with weekend on call rotation.
