Job description

Winpak is looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious Bag Machine Operator to join our team in Senoia, Georgia on multiple shifts including days, afternoons and nights.
In this role, you will operate the barrier shrink bag machine, ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. Reporting to the Barrier Shrink Bag Plant Supervisor, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, productive, and clean work environment, while ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain the BSB01 machine, ensuring safe and efficient production.
• Monitor machine conditions, reporting any issues promptly to supervision.
• Perform regular quality checks in accordance with ISO quality system guidelines.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Label, weigh, and seal finished product boxes accurately.
• Keep an accurate log of production data including box weights and product quantity.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace at all times.
• Maintain adequate raw material supply and monitor process changes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to promote a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience operating machines or equipment in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.
  • 1+ years of experience performing quality checks and identifying product or equipment issues.
  • 1+ years of experience following written work instructions, standard operating procedures, or safety guidelines.
  • Must be willing and able to work day, afternoon, evening, or night shifts, including overtime and weekends as business needs require.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • 1+ years of experience accurately completing production records, inventory logs, or other required documentation.
  • 1+ years of experience working independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.
  • 1+ years of experience handling materials, packaging finished products, or supporting production processes.
  • High school diploma or GED

Additional Details:
• This position is full-time and we have a variety of open shifts including days, afternoon, and evenings.
• The position requires working on-site in Senoia, GA.
Compensation Range: Starting at $20.00 an hour. The compensation range for this position will be determined based on skills and experience.
