Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Logistics Accounting Analyst to join our team in Irving, Texas. This individual will be responsible for overseeing logistics accounting, billing, and reporting processes while ensuring financial accuracy, timely reconciliations, and compliance with company standards. The role will collaborate closely with carriers, billing specialists, and management to support daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting and analytical skills, experience in logistics or transportation accounting, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $47,500/yearly (plus bonus opportunities)

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify billing for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and finalize month-end reports and accruals
  • Perform three-way matching of carrier invoices
  • Provide guidance and support to Billing Specialists
  • Prepare invoices for approval and payment processing
  • Reconcile payments and carrier aging statements
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Manage billing-related communication with carriers
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting documentation
  • Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Support additional accounting and logistics functions as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in logistics accounting, transportation accounting, or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Truck Mate software preferred but not required
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting strict deadlines
  • Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse and distribution center environment with varying temperatures
  • Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other powered industrial equipment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings or training as business needs require
