Your Experience & Skills
 
  • Veterinary technician licensure required  
  • 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred  
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology  
  • program preferred; or equivalent education and experience  
  • Strong attention to detail with organizational and time management skills  
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client service skills  
  • Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset

range of services including preventative care, advanced diagnostics, surgery, and  
treatment for illness or injury.

Hospital Hours:  
 
Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM  
 
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM  
 
What You’ll Do  
 
  • As an LVT, you’ll be an essential part of our medical team, helping deliver outstanding care  
 
  • from check-in to recovery:  
 
  • Patient Care & Nursing  
 
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients  
 
  • Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments  
 
  • Monitor hospitalized patients and provide ongoing assessment  
 
  • Deliver post-operative care, including pain management  
 
  • Surgery & Anesthesia  
 
  • Prepare patients and surgical suites  
 
  • Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia  
 
  • Assist in surgical procedures and maintain sterile technique  
 
  • Diagnostics & Procedures  
 
  • Perform venipuncture and laboratory sample collection  
 
  • Run in-house diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal testing, etc.)  
 
  • Take and process radiographs  
 
  • Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures  
 
  • Client Communication  
 
  • Educate clients on treatments, medications, and preventive care  
 
  • Obtain accurate patient histories and explain discharge instructions  
 
  • Build trusting relationships with clients through clear, empathetic communication  
 
  • Hospital Operations  
 
  • Maintain accuracy in medical records and treatment plans  
 
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning  
 
  • Uphold cleanliness and hospital infection control standards  
 
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment  
 
  • Physical Requirements  
 
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and assist with larger patients  
 
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout the day  
 
  • Ability to safely restrain animals of all sizes  
 
  • Willingness to work in a clinical setting with exposure to odors, noise, and medical
