Job description

The Chattahoochee Valley Libraries is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Full Time Library Assistant. This is a 40 hour per week position in the Circulation Department at Columbus Public Library.
All applicants must have a High School diploma or GED; have high energy and pleasing dispositions. Applicants must have a passion for public service, must be proficient with Internet & Microsoft Office applications, and have a record of being responsible and dependable. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and the public. Applicants must also be available to report to any branch in the system and work nights and weekends in rotation. Prior library and bilingual experience would be standout qualities.
Salary: $24,960 / year
