Job Description:
Marketing Content Writers play an important role at The Lee Company, supporting the company's growth by working closely with a talented internal marketing team and outside agencies to communicate our value proposition and promote our products. In this role, you will facilitate the creation of print and digital content including technical articles, presentations, case studies, product data sheets, technical handbooks and other marketing materials to support inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, or Business Communications.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marketing, writing promotional content (B2B) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, digital asset management (DAM) tools, and HubSpot a plus.
  • Excellent writing, proof-reading, communication, and interpersonal skills - with strong attention to detail. Experience with technical writing, SEO strategies, and inbound marketing principles a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, complete tasks on schedule, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
  • Write copy for and oversee the design of strategic, technical marketing content across print and digital formats: educational articles, case studies, eBooks, white papers, product descriptions, web copy, press releases, sales decks, product data sheets, and handbooks.
  • Interview SMEs, customers, and other project stakeholders to extract insights and write strong marketing narratives and educational content.
  • Edit, repurpose, and optimize existing content to maximize visibility, improve performance, and expand our library.
  • Partner with the marketing team to support all stages of content creation, including digital strategy, SEO optimization, graphic design, photography, and print production.
  • Write content designed to rank in AI-generated overviews (e.g., featured snippets or AI search summaries).
  • Balance technical accuracy with persuasive, engaging storytelling.
  • Implement and maintain company formatting and style guidelines.
  • Assist with general department responsibilities, including creative development, proof-reading, campaign strategy, etc.
