Can L2 visa holders work multiple jobs?

L2 visa holders are generally allowed to work in the United States once they obtain an Employment Authorization Document (EAD). They can work for multiple employers or hold multiple jobs simultaneously, provided their EAD remains valid and they comply with all visa requirements. It is important to ensure that employment activities align with the terms of the EAD and visa status.

Can L2 EAD work on full time?

L2 visa holders with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are permitted to work full-time in the United States. There are no restrictions on the number of hours they can work, and they can be employed by any employer or work as independent contractors, provided their EAD remains valid.

Job description

Role- Sr.Net Support Lead

Location: Hartford, CT Hybrid Onsite 4 days a week

Duration: Fulltime opportunity

Required Visa: USC/ GC Only.

Support lead with expertise in C#, .NET (3.5, 4.8+, Core), SQL Server 2022, WebForms, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery. The ideal candidate should have proven experience leading a onsite offshore support team that provides L2/L3 support to business-critical applications.

Candidate will perform following activities

  • Manage L2/L3 services in onsite offshore model for legacy applications developed in using .NET Framework (3.5, 4.8+), .NET Core, and ASP.NET (WebForms, MVC) on AWS platform
  • Lead support team of fullstack developers and SQL developers.
  • Establish support processes which are adhering to ITIL guidelines
  • Manage client expectations. Setup right expectations through effective communication and reporting.
  • Provide L2/L3 support
  • Establish efficient Incident triaging, tracking mechanism to adhere to contractual SLA.
  • Support, develop and optimize SQL Server 2022 queries, stored procedures.
  • Work with Visual Studio 2022 to support, develop and debug applications.
  • Implement client-side scripting using JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver enhancements
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Backend: C#, .NET 3.5, .NET 4.8+, .NET Core
  • Frontend: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap
  • Database: SQL Server 2022 (Stored Procedures, Indexing, Optimization)
  • Frameworks: ASP.NET WebForms, MVC
  • IDE & Tools: Visual Studio 2022, Git/TFS, Azure DevOps
  • Web Services: RESTful APIs, Web API, WCF (optional)
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira and ServiceNow
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Atalasoft dotImage, kendo Controls is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
