What is the opportunity?

The BPM development chapter is an exciting team to build innovative BPM solution that accelerate the digital transformation in RBC. The primary technology in use is PEGA and other emerging technologies, like Camunda. As a PEGA BPM developer, your main reasonability is to work with the Tech Lead to design and build the high-profile workflow applications with the quality and speed. You are to adopt the agile mindset and implements the DevOps to enable faster delivery cycles. You are also to participate in the BPM chapter meeting and contribute to the best practices.

What will you do?

  • Participate in the lab discussion to understand and contribute to the business requirements.

  • Assist Tech Lead for the application design, and independently take on the design of the sub components.

  • Develop the PEGA solution that fulfills the requirement and compliant to PEGA best practices, and unit test to ensure the quality.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve the application issue and defects independently with the speed.

  • Configure the DevOps process to automate the deployment of the code to higher environments.

  • Clear and proactive communication to the lab and management on the work progress, issues, and call out for help.

  • Maintains and enhances relationships with internal teams and external contacts to deliver measurable business outcomes.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Knowledge of PEGA PRPC version 7, 8.5 and up.

  • Familiar with JAVA, XML, SOAP, Rest API, SQL.

  • Familiar with web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, CSS.

  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile methodology

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong curiosity on technology and software engineering.

Nice to have

  • PEGA Certified System Architect.

  • PEGA Certified Senior System Architect.

  • Experience with Pega Smart Disputes framework would be an asset

  • Prior experience with SpringBoot, Angular, Content Management, Records Management, Forms Digitization, RPA

  • Pega Infinity versions, Pega DX API, Pega PDC, Kafka, IBM Open shift cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, and S3

  • Prior experience with Agile projects
