Job Type: Full time.
Shift: 2nd Shift
Pay Range: $24.00-25.25
PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position involved the operation of the combined stockroom. The stockroom contains finished components, finished bearings, balls, lubes, and purchased parts for all product lines. The clerk coordinates the most efficient use of available component inventory to maintain assembly ratio and meet customer deliveries. The scope of the stockroom clerk's responsibilities includes all components and assemblies of the bearing product lines. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Maintain accurate inventories through conscientious performance of inventory transactions, verification of transactions
  • Provide information, both written and verbal, concerning specific order statuses and workloads in assembly
  • Occasionally provide coverage of other crib areas as required
  • Core competencies include:
    • Issuing work orders
    • Countbacks
    • Processing incoming purchased items
    • Processing pick sheets
    • Receiving manufactured components into inventory
    • Transferring inventory
    • Cycle counting
  • This individual may generate and/or handle regulated (i.e. hazardous/non-hazardous) waste as part of this job. This must be disposed of in accordance with federal/state regulations

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Math and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and understand prints, process sheets, and engineering specifications.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to sit or stand in one position for a period of time. Ability to carry parts from assigned areas to the work station.
  • Dexterity of hands, some repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Manufacturing experience- Preferred
  • 3+ Stockroom, material handling- Preferred
