Fire Department Captain - Level 3 (Security Clearance Required)
We are seeking an experienced Fire Service Professionals, who are eligible for a security clearance to lead our Fort Worth fire service team. The incumbent will supervise assigned firefighters, oversee the inspection, and maintenance of all tools, equipment, vehicles, and station facilities. Safely and effectively direct response operations for structural fires, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF), hazardous material incidents, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and technical rescues.
In addition, the captain will provide fire service support for F 35 production activities, assist in managing the day to day shift operations under the direction of the on-duty Battalion Chief, command incidents, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
This role typically requires five to ten years of professional firefighting or fire service leadership experience.
This role will be assigned to a rotating 48/96 schedule.
Supervises employees who provide physical security and fire protection to safeguard personnel and property. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. May coordinate the activities of patrol cars, emergency firefighting equipment, radar, closed-circuit TV, and communications systems. Establishes regular security inspections and coordinates with firefighting and civil law-enforcement agencies.

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00
