Job Description
Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Senior Missile Threat Analyst who can take known physics and engineering principles and provide a different optic to defeat the threat all the while keeping the weapon and weapons system able to be operated and maintained by Fleet Sailors with a high degree of reliability.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Will be a senior member of the program office analyzing new and existing missile threats and working to determine ways in which they may be defeated.
  • Working with or leading a team of Engineers, scientists and analysts translating the known or developing threat dynamics into workable solutions which may be exploited by the Fleet and shore assets.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship with Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Military education can be considered in lieu of Bachelor's (with associate degree) and master's degree (with bachelor's degree).
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Ability to translate an identified threat - new capability into a requirement.
  • Intel and/or networks background.
  • Threat translation to a requirement and then work with the developers to meet requirements.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI or higher clearance (Polygraph).
  • Master's Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in the intelligence or missile defense communities.
  • Fleet operational experience on a missile defense platform.
  • Navy or Marine Veterans.
