Remote Customer Service Representative (Healthcare Marketplace) | Call Center CSR
Pay Rate:

  • $18.00/hour – English
  • $19.00/hour – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

We are seeking Customer Service Representatives to assist individuals and families with healthcare coverage through a state health insurance marketplace. What You'll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide support to consumers seeking healthcare coverage by:

  • Answering inbound calls from consumers, applicants, and authorized representatives
  • Assisting individuals and families with healthcare coverage applications
  • Explaining eligibility determinations and enrollment options
  • Processing life event changes, demographic updates, and disenrollment requests
  • Responding to inbound and outbound customer inquiries across multiple communication channels
  • Documenting all customer interactions accurately in company systems
  • Referring or transferring callers to the appropriate resources when needed
  • Assisting customers with requests for mailed or electronic materials
  • Coordinating translation services for non-English speaking callers
  • Escalating complex issues to appropriate support teams
  • Participating in required meetings, training sessions, and ongoing education
  • Maintaining confidentiality while delivering outstanding customer service

 
Qualifications
We're looking for candidates who have:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred
  • Previous customer service or call center experience preferred

Training
Paid training is provided.
 
Training Schedule

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Eastern
  • Three-week training program
  • Cameras must remain on throughout training and nesting

 
Attendance during training is mandatory. Candidates should not have pre-scheduled appointments during the training or nesting period. Missed time may result in separation from the program.
 
Work Schedule
Open Enrollment Season (November 1 – January 31)
 
Hours may include:

  • Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
  • Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
  • Final two Sundays of Open Enrollment: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
  • Final three days of Open Enrollment: Up to 10:00 PM EST
  • Week following Open Enrollment: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST

 
Outside Open Enrollment

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

 
Schedules will be assigned within business operating hours.
 
Remote Work Requirements
This is a remote, work-from-home position for New Jersey residents only.
