Cook – Full-Time
Facility: The Gardens at West Shore
Location: Camp Hill, PA
Schedule: 11:30 AM PM – 8:00 PM, every other weekend (EOW) required

The Gardens at West Shore is seeking a Cook to join our skilled nursing facility in Camp Hill, PA. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in accordance with planned menus and established portion control procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook all meals as scheduled

  • Coordinate food production with meal service times

  • Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders

  • Ensure proper portion control and plate presentation

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, abbreviations, and portions

  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and production regulations

  • Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • One (1) year of dietary or food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred

  • Culinary school training preferred
