Job description

Controller Location: Oakland County, MI Salary Range: $115,000 – $135,000 Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role will oversee full-cycle accounting, manage month-end close, and drive improvements in processes and procedures to support organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger Manage month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting Develop and implement budgeting and forecasting strategies Establish and improve financial processes and internal controls Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP Collaborate with leadership on strategic financial planning Lead and mentor accounting team members Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills Why Join Us?
