Job description

Title: QA Tester

Team: Cloud Team Part-time or Full-time: Full-time

Locations: Plano

Salary Range: Based on experience

As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of OxeAI, OxeFit's AI-powered fitness platform, mobile applications, and cloud-based services. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams, you will execute manual and automated testing, validate new features, identify defects, and help deliver high-quality software releases that provide an exceptional user experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Execute manual and automated testing for OxeAI features, mobile applications, web applications, and cloud services.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, regression suites, and release validation checklists.
  • Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects using bug tracking tools while partnering with engineers through resolution.
  • Validate new functionality, API integrations, AI-driven workflows, and user experiences across multiple platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and usability testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Software Engineers to define acceptance criteria and improve product quality.
  • Support release readiness by verifying fixes, monitoring quality metrics, and ensuring production stability.
  • Contribute to QA best practices, testing standards, documentation, and continuous process improvements.
  • Assist with automated testing initiatives and support CI/CD quality gates where applicable.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, QA Engineering, or Software Testing.
  • Experience testing web, mobile (iOS/Android), and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar API testing tools.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and Agile development practices.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
  • Familiarity with SQL or database validation.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
