QA Tester Job Responsibilities and Duties
• Executes test cases under varying circumstances
• Documents and evaluates test results
• Ability to write test scripts for automated tools and testing
• Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
• Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
• Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
• Partners with engineers to drive QA efforts
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management tools (Jira, HP ALM) and testing software tools (Postman, Selenium, SoapUI) and SQL (basic)
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to details in requirements
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
