Job description

Digital Marketing Specialist

One Step Secure I/T is an MSP providing the latest in managed services and cybersecurity.

We're a stable, privately-owned company where people enjoy what they do - and who they do it with. Our team sticks around, with an average tenure just shy of 10 years. That kind of loyalty doesn't happen by accident.

We are rooted in a strong culture and shared core values. We care about our team, our customers, and each other. If you're someone who has a passion for advancing business and improving lives through technology, values trust, integrity, and a place where your contributions matter, you'll feel right at home here.

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who will:

Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive qualified website traffic, and generate/convert
leads through organic and paid channels. This role blends hands-on channel execution with performance analysis, reporting, and continuous optimization, while collaborating closely with the Marketing Team.

  • Make us easier to find: Build and execute SEO + GEO strategies, run keyword research, and optimize pages (metadata, headings, URLs, internal links) to climb rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Run smart paid campaigns: Plan, launch, and optimize PPC and paid social campaigns-then iterate, improve, and scale for ROI.
  • Be our performance translator: Track and report KPIs using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush (and similar), turning data into clear next steps.
  • Improve the website journey: Monitor user behavior, fine-tune conversion paths, and help make the site feel effortless to navigate.
  • Own our social presence: Create content, engage with the community, spot trends, answer questions, and resolve issues-while keeping the brand voice consistent.
  • Fuel growth with fresh ideas: Bring new channel tests and creative strategies grounded in data and what's happening in the market.
  • Support team campaigns: Jump in on email, content, events, research, and other marketing programs as needed.
  • Bonus (conditional): Help lead podcast creation-from concept to distribution to repurposing.
What you bring
  • 3+ years in marketing/advertising/communications, with experience running nationwide paid search/social.
  • Strong chops in SEO/GEO, paid media, email, content/copywriting, and social.
  • A builder mindset: organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
  • Clear communication-able to explain what happened, why it happened, and what we'll do next.
  • Tool fluency: Google Ads, GA, Search Console, SEMrush (or similar), HubSpot (preferred), Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365.
Education/credentials
  • Degree in marketing/advertising/business/communications (preferred)
  • Google Certified (preferred)
