WBNG, the CBS affiliate in Binghamton, NY, is looking for an ambitious journalist to join our team. Today's sports coverage is about much more than highlights. It's about providing in-depth local content for sports of all types, including high school, Binghamton University Bearcats, the Dick's Sporting Goods Open golf tournament, and Binghamton Rumble Ponies baseball. WBNG-TV is home to the market's best high school and outdoor sports coverage!
We're looking for an ambitious journalist to find, shoot, write, and edit market-leading sports stories. The ideal candidate will also anchor sports coverage on weekends. You will get the opportunity to further showcase your skills by contributing to a variety of news topics for the newsroom on weekdays, including special coverage and events such as elections and severe weather.
