Description
The Manager, Digital Content - Golf will be responsible for the day-to-day execution, optimization, and performance of digital content experiences across TGL and WTGL owned platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and email channels. This person will partner closely with internal departments and with our external WTGL and TGL teams to bring league, team, and fan storylines to life through compelling, audience-first content experiences.
This individual will play a critical role in planning, publishing, and optimizing content that supports league objectives, drives fan engagement, grows audience and database acquisition, and enhances the overall digital fan experience. The ideal candidate combines strong editorial judgment, project management skills, data-driven decision making, and a passion for sports, while thriving in a fast-paced, startup environment. This role will work across multiple stakeholders and agency partners to ensure content is delivered accurately, on time, and aligned with the broader content and marketing strategy for TGL and WTGL.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive the execution of the league content schedule across digital platforms for TGL and WTGL on a week-to-week basis in alignment with live match broadcast, working closely with the Senior Manager of Digital Content and Senior Director of Digital Golf
  • Assist the management of TGL and WTGL digital properties by surfacing relevant content before and after match nights.
  • Work closely with the Digital Golf team, Social Golf team, and TMRW Sports Shared Services to ideate on and execute upcoming content opportunities
  • Liaise with the Social Golf team, marketing and creative teams, and our agency partners on the strategy and execution of our digital content plans
  • Work with internal Creative and Content teams as well as external agencies on the development of creative assets for web, app and email
  • Coordinate with Teams across TGL and WTGL (seven clubs) to facilitate content planning and assist the management and development of team content schedules for Team websites
  • Stay up to date on digital trends to maintain best practices

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Sports Management, or a related field
  • Five or more years' experience in digital content management, strategy and publishing
  • Professional experience working in professional sports, including for a team, league, agency or media organization
  • Proven ability to design, manage and execute multi-platform content calendars
  • Excellent editorial judgement, writing and copyediting skills
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Proficient in working with content management systems, video publishing tools, live streaming and digital analytics platforms
  • Experience managing and executing email content marketing within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across teams, digest needs, and prioritize accordingly
  • Expert knowledge and passion for sports (particularly golf)

Preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, startup environment
  • Familiarity with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Chartbeat, or similar tools
  • Experience publishing video content and managing multimedia assets across digital channels
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, content optimization, and audience growth strategies
  • Experience working with mobile app content management and fan engagement platforms

  • You partner with TMRW Sports Shared Services and Digital Product teams to measure and report digital content performances against established KPI's, including but not limited to: Traffic (uniques, visits), Engagement (avg. time on site, repeat visits, avg. pages per visit), Content performance (video views, completion rate, vertical content), Database growth, Support team fandom growth
  • You consistently deliver compelling digital content that engages fans and grows audiences.
  • You use data and analytics to improve content performance across web, app, and email.
  • You collaborate effectively across teams to execute best-in-class digital experiences.
  • You manage multiple priorities with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
  • You bring a fan-first mindset and continuously seek new ways to enhance the digital experience.
