Job Summary:
Crecera Brands is a leading retailer in outdoor gear and sporting goods, including golf and baseball supplies. They are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive business initiatives within these domains, utilizing strong analytical skills and technical expertise in SQL, Python, and Tableau.
Responsibilities:
โข Analyze large, structured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
โข Translate business questions into data-driven analyses and actionable recommendations
โข Design and execute exploratory and statistical analyses using Python and R
โข Develop KPIs and metrics to monitor performance and support business strategy
โข Write complex, optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
โข Work with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) to manage and model data
โข Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems
โข Build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau (or similar BI tools)
โข Provide clear storytelling through data to influence decision-making
โข Automate reporting processes and improve accessibility of insights
โข Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Finance, Marketing, Operations)
โข Gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions
โข Present findings and recommendations to leadership
โข Develop predictive models or advanced analytics solutions where needed
โข Identify opportunities to improve data processes, tools, and governance
โข Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices
Qualifications:
Required:
โข Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., TN, H1B status)
โข Bachelorโs degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, economics, data science, or related field
โข 4+ years of experience in data analytics or a related role
โข Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R, Tableau or similar BI tools
โข Strong experience working with data warehouses and large datasets
โข Solid understanding of statistics, data modeling, and analytical methods
โข Proven ability to communicate insights to business stakeholders
Preferred:
โข Experience with modern data stacks (i.e. Snowflake etc.)
โข Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
โข Exposure to A/B testing, machine learning, or predictive modeling
โข Experience in a DTC e-commerce environment
โข Experience mentoring or leading projects
