Job Title: Golf Groundskeeper

Dallas, Texas 75248

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Course Maintenance/Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining golf courses, including mowing, managing bunkers, and ensuring the overall health of the greens. This role is essential in providing an exceptional playing experience for our members and guests.

This position offers a flexible schedule during working hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine mowing of fairways, greens, and roughs to maintain optimal playing conditions.
  • Maintain and repair bunkers, ensuring they are in excellent condition for play.
  • Utilize trimmers and other landscaping equipment to enhance the aesthetics of the golf course.
  • Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers.
  • Assist in the maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of the greens and fairways.
  • Assists in the construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil, and planting
  • Monitor the health of turf and plants, applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
  • Grades and prepares a soil plant bed, lays sod, plants vegetative material, and pulls weeds in the bed
  • Collaborate with the greenskeeping team to implement maintenance schedules and practices.
  • Uphold safety standards and practices while operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Operate powered equipment in mowing golf course putting greens, aprons, tees, and rough.
  • Change cups and tee markers


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
  • Knowledge of turf management and horticulture practices.
  • Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Education and Experience:
