Job description

King's Pointe offers their guests everything they need for a unique vacation: indoor and outdoor waterpark; spacious rooms and cottages; al fresco dining and fire pits; and even a mini-golf and nine-hole golf course across the street. Come see why we’re not only called “the pointe of family fun” but also a workplace of fun! 

We are seeking a qualified Lifeguards that are able to ensure the safety and well-being of patrons using the waterpark, both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor waterpark is open seasonally, tentative dates are approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Applicant must have the ability to successfully complete and maintain certification programs as instructed by the property, are reliable, prior customer service skills or work related experience, and the ability to work within the operational hours of the waterpark including, but not limited to, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Must successfully complete the American Red Cross Certification and blood borne pathogen programs as required by the property.
  • Attend regular in-service training and stay current on new policies and procedures pertaining to duties as a lifeguard.
  • Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Ability to maintain a composed, approachable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and practice safety standards at all times. 
  • Respond quickly and diligently to guests needs and emergency situations
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all areas of the waterpark.
  • Ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests using the waterpark.
  • Maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance at all times.

Must be able to successfully pass a background check as it relates to the job responsibilities for this position.
