Job description

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking an experienced welder to join our Millwright team in Bells, TN.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, replace, build, move, or alter equipment as needed.
  • Create reliable structural, pipe, OR sheet metal welds.
  • Diagnose moderately complex to highly complex mechanical problems and resolve them, including tear-down and rebuilding of lines or major mechanical components and replacement of hydraulic systems.
  • Weld stainless steel and galvanized steel. Fabricate screens, guard rails, platforms, stands, conveyors, and other equipment as needed.
  • Identify potential problems affecting mechanics or production flow and respond appropriately.
  • Follow all current GMPs.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional welding experience in MIG and TIG required.
  • Must have an understanding of mechanical systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, engines, compressors, etc.) related to Pictsweet production.
  • Must be proficient in the use of power tools.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
