Job description

Hiring Welders - pay up to $28/hour around Braham, MN.

Location : Anoka, Ramsey, Braham and Cambridge locations of MN.

Shift : All the Shifts are available.

Pay : $23 to $30/ hour or more based on Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on thinner galvanized steel components in a production welding environment.
  • Work with sheet metal materials, ensuring accurate and consistent welds according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand weld locations, dimensions, and assembly requirements.
  • Set up, operate, and adjust MIG welding equipment and related fabrication tools as needed.
  • Follow established welding procedures and safety practices, especially when working with galvanized steel.
  • Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance, and make adjustments to improve results when necessary.
  • Rotate through different welding and fabrication tasks as skills grow and as production needs require.
  • Use ventilation equipment properly, positioning exhaust vents to ensure safe and comfortable working conditions while welding galvanized steel.

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-on MIG welding experience in a production or fabrication environment, preferably on galvanized steel.
  • Ability to weld thinner sheet metal materials with precision and control.
  • Experience reading and working from blueprints or technical drawings.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting while maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and use proper ventilation when welding galvanized steel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
